Description

Addressable Algorithmic Thermovelocimetric Thermal Sensor – A30XTA Cofem

Algorithmic-addressable thermal sensor for fire detection.

The operating principle of the A30XTA sensor is based on the physical properties of an NTC. The variation of the electrical characteristics of the NTC thermistor due to the variation of the ambient temperature, is what allows its use as a thermal sensor.

The A30XTA is capable of recording absolute temperatures (thermal sensor), as well as ramps of temperature increase (thermovelocimetric function).

The thermovelocimetric function allows detecting a fire in the initial stages of its development, O, if this is very slow, it is activated when the temperature reaches 60ºC.

features
  • Low profile, total height less than 45 mm (including socket).
  • Also available with high socket for pipe 20 mm.
  • Double red alarm LED, allowing the detector to be identified in an alarm state from any direction (360º).
  • Possibility of connection to a remote action indicator.
  • Easy connection, no polarity.
  • Indication, using the LEDs, of communication with the central (simple flicker), as well as the alarm status (LEDs lit).
  • Easy to install head and socket, interchangeable across the entire A30X range, and made of white heat-resistant ABS.
  • AENOR certificate according to the EN standard 54 part 5 class A2R (sensors with thermovelocimetric function), and with CE marking according to the European Regulation of Construction Products (EU) 305/2011.
