The FC501 panel is the new FireClass analog solution for small systems created for you by Tyco Fire Protection Products. Engineered to be extremely easy to install and use, the FC501 is a panel “ready to use” offering the simplicity of a conventional system and the benefits of FireClass analog digital technology. Auto addressing, the “intelli-zone” function, the online help system, the USB interface for uploading the configuration and the ease of configuring the panel via the integrated keyboard are just some of the features that allow the installation and configuration of the FC501 in just a few simple steps. The wiring process is simplified by its triple connection loop which provides isolation against short circuits. Once the loop devices have been connected, the system can be auto addressed with one click. Devices are automatically assigned to 3 zones, according to the physical loop they are connected to and the system is now ready to protect the site. If the system configuration has to be modified and the devices re-addressed or the zones re-programmed, powerful “Intelli-zone” feature significantly reduces setup time, allowing the installer to perform testing and programming at the same time. The user configuration software is extremely intuitive and offers a very good graphical interface showing all the devices connected to the different zones. A battery and cable calculation tool is included in the software to help the installer to size the system .A free graph mapping software, based on a tree structure and multilevel maps allows remote control of real-time visualization of any state of the loop, zone and/or point and simple remote user interface with control buttons (to restore, silence, evacuation), allows users to manage the system from anywhere in the world. The FireClass FC501 control panel supports a total of 128 devices, including dual and triple technology detectors and a wide variety of modules and sirens, benefiting from one of the widest ranges available on the market.
