The module is powered by the connection to the loop, but it requires a 30V auxiliary power supply that provides the necessary energy to the devices governed by the relays. This supervises the presence of voltage on the 30V auxiliary supply line as well as on the outputs of the supervised relays.

The module is protected by a self-resetting fuse of 0,9 A and each supervised output of 0,5 A.

The flashing of the transparent red led indicates communication with the control panel. The lighting of the green led indicates the tripping of one or both relays.

It is a module of two outputs of relays of simultaneous actuation (with a single function), both in its type of application (siren, maneuver or pre-alarm), as in their timing and combination of sensors that activate them.

Relay output R1 is supervised by means of an end-of-line resistor. 33 kO, indicating the status of open line or crossed line. Relay output R2 acts as NO and NC contact, unsupervised, being its typical application the tripping of the electromagnets of the fire doors. Taking into account the consumption produced on the system, it is recommended to install external power supplies (FAE) for more than 10 total electromagnets per control unit.

Supplied in rectangular modules made of heat-resistant ABS.

The MDA1Y module is certified according to the EN Standard 54-18 by AENOR, and with CE marking according to the European Regulation of Construction Products (EU) 305/2011.
