Module 8 Configurable Technical Signal Inputs – MSTAY8 Cofem

Microprocessed and addressable analog module (with short-circuit isolator) which is installed as one more element of the loop.

The MSTAY8 module has eight inputs to supervise equipment external to the system.

It is a typical application to signal the status of other detection systems where there may be connection of flow sensors in the case of sprinkler installations., limit switches in the case of fire doors, elevators, deposit level, pressure groups, etc.

These inputs are configurable by microswitch as follows:

Supervised (pin 1 μswitch en ON); in idle state it supervises the external line by means of a 33KΩ resistor, indicating the status of open line or crossed line. Connecting a 10kΩ resistor in parallel will activate the corresponding input.
Active by closed contact (pin 1 μswitch OFF and pin 3 μswitch and OFF); the idle input must be with the contacts open, in the event of an event, the input contacts must be crossed. This will be the factory setting.
Active by open contact (pin 1 μswitch OFF and pin 3 μswitch en ON); the idle input must be with crossed contacts, in the event of an event, the contacts must be opened.

Via pin 2 from the configuration μswitch we will select the type of event that the module will send to the control panel; ON Fault and OFF Alarm.

The configuration of the inputs is common to all.

The flashing of the transparent red led indicates communication with the control panel, as well as if it remains on fixed, it indicates the activation of one or more inputs. This module has an output for the activation of a remote pilot, activated when in alarm state. The Technical Signals Module is powered by the connection to the loop.

Supplied in rectangular modules made of heat-resistant ABS.
