Overview
The SAL-4001 addressable acoustic sirens are designed for acoustic signaling of fires with tones. They are dedicated to work on addressable detection lines of the POLON system 6000 y POLON 4000 only. They are activated by the control panel when all the programmed criteria are met, for instance, fire alarm in a particular area, general fire alarm, etc.
Design
All electronic units with piezoelectric buzzer are housed inside the detector housing of the model range 40. Some space is left inside the SAL-4001 device for the installation of a battery of 9 V 6F22. The G-40S base (fire resistant) must be used to mount the signaling device on the ceiling.
The base is equipped with a screwless terminal block for connecting cables. The terminal block has six terminals, two pairs marked "+" and "-" as input and output of the detector loop and two terminals for connection of an external power supply of 24 V.
