General

The ST801 and ST802 high temperature thermal probe heat detectors have been designed to protect against any danger in the event of high temperatures occurring in a specific location. The sensitive element (light bulb) can be set up to a distance 1 meter from junction box.

ST801

The ST801 is a high temperature thermal probe heat detector with a lockout relay that maintains the alarm even after the danger temperature has dropped or disappeared. Can be used as a conventional detector and connected to any of the Kilsen fire control panel zones.

Alert

The ST800 should not be used to protect large areas. The unit's casing is not designed to withstand high temperatures.

Applications

One of the most common applications for the ST800 is fire detection in industrial kitchen exhaust fans.. The high reliability of thermal probes make them the perfect tool to control automatic fire extinguishing systems, as CO2, aerosol sprays, etc. For easy adaptation to any supervisory control panel, two ST800 models are available:

ST802

The ST802 does not use lockout relays. It simply has a potential-free relay output that allows NO connections., COM and NC.
