The product

The STX2401-C is an EN54-4 certified power supply ideal for use in fire system applications.. It has smart battery charging, monitoring and signaling. The regulated output of 27.6 VDC will generate up to 1,2 A at the start and will provide up to 0.3 A to charge the batteries. Maximum battery life is ensured through continuous active battery monitoring and 2 different load levels: final floating load (fast charge) and temperature compensation. Once fully charged, the product operates in Eco power saving mode, by which the batteries are charged for 4 hours in each period 24 hours while continuously monitoring. Deep discharge protection prevents premature battery deterioration when operating in standby mode for extended periods. Inside the unit, a diagnostic LED with various flash patterns, ensures accurate diagnostics when unit is in fault.

Easy installation

The STX2401-C power supply is supplied in a self-contained wall-mount enclosure that can hold batteries up to 7 Ah (not included). The housing is made of metal and is white in color. Housing features a center hole on the back for initial wall mounting, which is supported by 4 additional mounting holes. A potential-free contact is used to signal faults due to output failure, battery failure, charger failure or internal failure. A second potential-free contact indicates loss of mains supply. These ensure that any fault conditions, that this is reported to the monitoring team, and that appropriate measures are taken in the event of loss of power supply. The battery charging circuit is energized only when the battery is connected correctly and the battery voltage is higher than 14 V. One green and one yellow LED that are visible when the box is closed, indicates the presence of power supply and faults. One orange diagnostic LED inside the unit, distinguishes between various faults by means of various flash patterns. This ensures that the fault condition can be correctly identified on the spot and appropriate action taken to rectify the cause..
